Debt-Proof Living

  • Book Rating: 3/5

I read Mary Hunt's "Debt-Proof Living" book a few years back and found it very helpful. Now that I am married and trying to combine our financial lives I thought this would be a good read. Except for a few odd chapters that bordered on marriage counseling this was an abridged version of her first book. It was a good reminder but if you haven't read the first I recommend spending your time on that instead. It is more thorough and kept to the most important part - financial advice and budgeting tips.

Very shocking examples the author provides. Now I don't feel so bad about my situation. It's not bad at all. It is a great book for people who need help is figuring out and set a budged discipline. It is not even a book about budget. It's more like a technique that can be taylored to fit everyone's need.
