Overview

The challenge every man faces...the fight every man can win

From the television to the Internet, print media to videos, men are constantly faced with the assault of sensual images. It is impossible to avoid such temptations...but, thankfully, not impossible to rise above them.
Shattering the perception that men are unable to control their thought lives and roving eyes, Every Man's Battle shares the stories of dozens who have escaped the trap of sexual immorality and presents a practical, detailed plan for any man who desires sexual purity-perfect for men who have fallen in the past, those who want to remain strong today, and all who want to overcome temptation in the future.

Includes a special section for women, designed to help them understand and support the men they love.

This series of books is very well done and very approachable, yet it is not diluted. The hints and tips are useful, the reasoning is sound (unwavering Biblical position), and the examples (sadly) resonate with most men. This is a good read and can be a great tool for any man seeking to be ever closer to God's calling... and ever farther from the sins of sexual immorality.

This book is in your face about an area all men face daily. It provides explicit examples and ways to go about dealing with this sin. Other reviews say examples are extremes. I personally disagree. To me these are everday occurances that happen without even thinking. Good book for any man, but especially Christians who struggle in this area and are concerned something was only wrong with them. Non-Christian men may have a hard time understanding these desires as part of their sin nature.

Good practical stuff

OK men. If you are reading this, you most likely are looking for help with dealing with lust. Its a very strong and natural desire, yet it when left unchecked, is very sinful and damaging. I have struggled in this area since I was a young teen. This book comes straight at you....no holds barred. The stories are of the extreme nature, but they let you know that 1) others deal with this issue and 2) you dont have to be defeated by it. The book offers a very practical plan of attack. By using these ideas, remaining obedient to God, and by be willing to step up to the plate, you can have victory here. Dont loose heart. If youre struggling, GET THIS BOOK!

Excellent book for women to understand male sexuality and the battles he faces. A bit preachy for non-Christians.

This is a good book for all Christian men. I recommend it to all men because our society is geared toward more sexual and sensual television, media, and our general populace. This gives an excellent alternative to alleviating your desires and devoting them to our Christian father. I highly recommend this to all men.

Shocking

The message is to get over the sin of lust, but the book is quite shocking and presents a lot of extreme stories/examples. The narrative is fine but don't get this if you don't want to be shocked.
