This is a wonderful "listen". I believe it was read by the author. I like her soothing voice and her story telling. She will inspire you to write! There are many writing exercises in the book so I plan to buy the print version now. It's not about chronological memoir writing, as in, I was born here, I went to this school, worked here, etc. Instead, she will say, "Think of the word 'red"; what comes to mind?" She remembers her mother's red lipstick while her mother ate Oreo cookies. Small details make great writing. One topic will springboard you into others. It may inspire some great poetry too. Enjoy, get out of your car and write!
