Linda Sue Park usually sets her stories in ancient times. This story is set in modern times. The korean slant to her story is more "flavoring" in this story. Female Nar. is pleasant to listen to, but does not attempt voices. Probably because the Nar is the teenage character. Linda is interviewed by her character between chapters about her writing/coming up with the ideas for that chapter. She has a professional interview at the end also.
