Charming book

There are several Susan Isaacs books that simply shine with heart and thought. This is one of them. The protagonists are so appealing that you are rooting for them all the way through. In addition to a wonderful love story set in New York and Wyoming (with all the cultural differences that implies), Isaacs also takes us back through generations of families all the way from the immigrant wave in the 1800s, through World War I and II, and the turbulent 60s and 70s, all leading up to these two characters. And she also explores society's rise of white supremacist groups! This book has it all. I adored it. One tiny note concerning the narrator: The country great Lefty Frizzell who was a source for much of modern country music: His name is pronounced "Friz-ZEL," not "FRIZ-el." Oh please.
