This is a wonderful story. The author understood masterfully to work the saga of Norse Gods and heroes into a gripping story of magic and adventures. Even though two children are the heroes it is not a children's book. I can recommend it to any adult who wants to lose him or herself for a few hours among Vikings, trolls, bards, gigantic spiders and even a dragon.

What a wonderful book! Made all the better by the narrator who captured each person so fully. I enjoyed the viking lore and myths which in this country we don't know much of and even though I'm an adult I was completely engrossed in the whole adventure! I would listen to that again.
