Story held my attention completely. Lots of interesting details about the period. Production very good. The actress reading the story was excellent. I looked forward to each chance I had to listen.

Engrossing Period Piece

Lilly is a young woman wanting to make her way up in society but torn by family obligations. A very interesting glimpse into the period of history where an apothecary functioned as the next best thing to a doctor. My only criticism would be the way the story ended rather abruptly. It was almost like the author ran out of steam and quickly tied up all the loose ends.
